An Affair to Remember...

...and a holiday just for kicks.

So is it accurate to wish someone a "happy" Memorial Day? Or should it be something like, "See you later, have a solemn Memorial Day!" There was a nice little veteran-appreciation thingy at church yesterday. People cried.

Filming has not yet begun, but Saturday's lookin' pretty good. Brent doesn't work until 3 that day, so Ben and I should be able to go to Brent's to film in the mornin' hours.

Matt's gonna help me set up Clymaxxfilms.com soon, or as soon as I get in touch with Andy about using his server. Speaking of Matt, I went to Madison and we got fitted for tuxes. I insisted we all wear hot pink vests, but M&E didn't take to kindly to that. I digress.

Well, gotta work soon. Have a vocabularically appropriate Memorial Day. Keep it, yo.

Home Alone...

...at work.

Stuck at the 'Budge on a Friday night with nothing but my Teddy Grahams. But all's well: tomorrow is Hawaiian Day at your local Hollywood Video (applicable only to the HV on 108th St. in West Allis, WI)!

Bought a bigger CD case for my CDs today. The two I had in my glove compartment were overflowing. Now all are stored safely, plus room for more! Makes me want to go buy CDs to fill it up.

So some crazy customer chick thought one of my employees took a picture of her...??? That goes down in the books as one of the dumbest things a customer has said. She got all pissed about it, but he doesn't even have a camera phone, let alone a camera. But my all-time favorite dumb customer goes to the kid who wanted to know when Jason X was going to be re-released...yeah...no.

Workin' on Jen's DVD for her final project here and there (which I'm not entirely pissed about any more, as her second eyebrow ring came out recently). I've seriously got to start filming this week. I can't wait until I have actors under contract. Keep it, yo.

Bring it On Again...

...I can take it.

Sorry about the wait, folks. Things have been busy and my Internet access has been limited.

So I'm obviously back home again. Spent a few days Up North at Bon's cabin with her, Kyle, Skip, Sarah, Matt, and Erin. Felt like a whole "Discreet Charm of the Bourgoisie" thing. I'm workin' every day this week, and possibly heading out to Madison on Saturday/Sunday. Crap. Adam has a line in vending...brb.

Okay. So both jobs are just as normal as ever. A few new hires here and there. Still no girls to chase, which is fine, since I'm used to it. I'm always on the verge of leaving for somewhere, like Oregon, or Michigan, or LA, so chasing won't do much good.

Hard at work once again on WS3, with filming set to resume next week. Jen is just as stubborn as ever, recently delivering the line, "You're just going to have to deal with it." Almost made me regret giving her $10.00 for her fricking CD.

And might I add my excitement over ending up with an Episode III poster, now hanging prominently over Cortana. Enough for now. Keep it, yo.

Best in Show...

...could be mine!

Loved and Lost has been completed. Rolls in at a hefty 86 pages. My prof. gave me the "best script" award for the class, but once again, the scales have been unbalanced in the decision, such as the case with Duck!. Not all the students have turned theirs in yet, and when I asked if he read through it all (to see if he got to the "surprise ending"), he responded, "Well, I skimmed through it..." But all's well. It reminds me of Creative Writing freshman year when the class voted my script the best. :-)

So two scenes from it are going to be acted out this Saturday at the "Media Arts Festival," where my Video Production project will also be shown. "Winners" get an applause and a small cheap trophy. So good times.

I watched "The Hidden Fortress" tonight, the Kurosawa film that Lucas borrowed from. I'm gonna watch the five Star Wars films over the next five days or so, then the Clone Wars episodes right before E3. At long last. At long last.

Things to watch for in the coming months:
1. The completion of WS3:Redemption. Don't hold your breath for the DVD.
2. The launch of clymaxxfilms.com, home to many works of Maxx King.
3. The possible production of the Untitled Maxx King Mini-series (his first attempt at comedy!!!).
4. ???

And if anyone out there in Maxxketeer Land wants to read Loved and Lost, let me know. It will be cheaper to print copies here than go to Kinko's. Keep it, yo.

The Girl Next Door...

...totally wants me.

That takes a *little* pressure off. Garcia (Video Production Prof.) is letting Mieke and I turn in the FINAL final project later this week, and just turn in a regular final project on Tuesday. The STUPID MACS here and the STUPID AVID program that they have for the STUPID MACS are all STUPID. So editing, along with every other thing you could possibly want to do, sucks when trying to do so on a MAC. Stupid Macs. My name is Tim, and I do NOT use a Mac.

Okay so she doesn't exactly live next door. There's this Kim chick (who you'll all see pictures of later) who wants me, so I think I'm going to take her to a movie next week. She looks like Nikki Kid, so maybe a little "Interpreter" is in order.

The script in nearing completion. A few more scenes to go. I think it's gonna be boring.

Enough for now. Keep it, yo.

The Road Home...

...calls my name.

The semester's end within arm's reach. And plenty of work to do before it arrives. So let's see...last time I checked in with all y'all is after Duck! was finished. Since then, this side project we've been working on has a mentally challenged director (nice guy, just not on top of things), so that still has more fliming to do plus all the editing, but I've managed to secure what we do have onto Cortana, so eventually I'll have a finished project with that. Mieke and I have nearly completed Coffee & Paint, which is due on Tuesday, along with my Loved and Lost script, which is a little more than 2/3 done, currently coming in at 50 pages. (breath) The World Cinema paper did not go well at all.

What else? That's about all for now. I gotta get writing and stuff. Keep it, yo.
